The announcement was made through a visually stunning teaser that cements Asake’s reputation for high-concept artistry, featuring the singer navigating a grand, gallery-inspired marble hall where track titles are etched into the stone underfoot as the floor begins to fracture.
This 13-track project looks to be a truly international affair, building on Asake’s mission to bridge global sounds. The album features “Worship,” his pre-released, high-octane collaboration with French electronic titan DJ Snake. Other notable guest appearances on the record include the melodic French-Congolese rapper Tiakola and South African Amapiano architect Kabza De Small, signaling a continued expansion of his sonic palette across borders and genres.
“M$NEY” arrives as the successor to his critically acclaimed 2024 sophomore project, Lungu Boy. That album proved to be a milestone in the superstar’s career, as he successfully experimented with faster tempos and elite international partnerships.
